The construction sector accounted for the largest share of new postings, followed closely by administrative and support services, wholesale and retail trade, accommodation and food services, and professional, scientific and technical services.
Together, these five industries represented nearly 70% of all job opportunities in October.
Among occupations, accountants, business managers, lawyers, construction workers and motor vehicle mechanics were in highest demand.
The report noted a 35.41% increase in postings compared to the previous month and a 29.47% rise over the past six months, signalling strong and sustained job market activity.
Regarding education levels, 77% of postings required a certificate or diploma, while 19% called for a high school qualification.
The report also detailed salary information, highlighting that job titles with the highest average annual salaries included managing directors, chief operating officers, partners and legal counsels.
Jobs were primarily concentrated in Grand Cayman, with 1,846 postings, while Cayman Brac and Little Cayman had 28 and nine postings respectively.
The majority of postings requested candidates with three to six years of experience, though a significant number sought individuals with less than three years or over seven years of experience.
