Camana Bay is planning a weekend of Halloween activities for children and adults, culminating in a free community celebration in Town Centre on Saturday, 31 October.
The programme includes trick-or-treating at participating shops, face painting, themed photo opportunities, children’s parties and outdoor film screenings, alongside activities to help ensure parents have fun too.
The weekend starts on Friday, 30 October, when MyFirstGym will offer a ‘Halloween date night’ from 5:30pm to 8:30pm.
The event will see kids entertained with Halloween games, spooky skills, creepy crafts and a themed dinner so adults can take time for themselves and enjoy a date night.
The session costs CI$60 for members and $75 for non-members.

Halloween festivities at Camana Bay continue on 31 October, when families can visit participating retailers from 4pm to collect treats, meet familiar characters and have their faces painted by Ms Shilpa as their favourite heroes or villains.
A themed photo opportunity will also give visitors a chance to capture the occasion. Treats and activities are free.
Businesses taking part include Abacus, Agua, Bedside Manor, The Brooklyn Pizza and Pasta, Camana Bay Cinema, Gelato and Co Cremeria Italiana, KARoo, Kempa Design, Le Visage, LOCO, Next Chapter, Next Door, Pink Ladies, Red’s Emporium, Union Grill and Bar and The Waterfront.
At MyFirstGym, a Halloween Ninja Party will run from 2pm to 4pm, featuring games, dancing, food and prizes, including the chance to win a three-month Busy Kids Membership.
Tickets cost $15 for members and $25 for non-members. Children attending regular scheduled classes between 8am and midday can also wear their Halloween costumes for a chance to win a prize in each class.
Next Chapter will host its free Pumpkins and Piñatas party from 4pm to 5:30pm, with a craft table followed by a piñata session at 5:15pm.
For older children and adults, Next Door has scheduled a free screening of ‘Monster House’ (2006, rated PG) at 5:45pm.
The venue will offer seasonal cocktails and mocktails from 4pm, along with games and entertainment.
Visitors can borrow table games from Mesa Del Sol and receive 10% off trading card packs, including Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering and One Piece.
The evening continues at The Crescent, where Camana Bay’s free ‘Moonlight and Movies’ event will screen ‘The Incredibles’ (2004, rated PG) at 7:15pm.
Families are encouraged to bring blankets and snacks to watch the film under the stars.
Christy Whittaker, senior manager of marketing at Camana Bay, told Cayman Independent: “This year, Halloween at Camana Bay is more than just an evening of festivities – we’re celebrating all weekend long with experiences for families, children and adults alike, culminating in a free community Halloween celebration on 31 October.
“From a pre-Halloween evening of fun just for the kids to trick-or-treating, face painting, an outdoor movie and more throughout town centre on Halloween night, we’re creating a welcoming, safe space for the community to come together, have fun and make lasting memories.”
