The Cayman Islands under-15 national team will take on Inter Miami CF Academy’s under-14 side at 8pm today (Friday), 30 January.
The match marks the opening of the Ascension Football Group Invitational at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex in George Town.
The premier three-night youth tournament, hosted in Grand Cayman, also features New York Red Bulls under-14s and Jamaica’s Cavalier FC under-14s.
Matches are scheduled for 6:30pm and 8pm on 30 and 31 January and 1 February.
Organised by Ascension Football Group, the event delivers elite competition under the lights, connecting young players with professional clubs and academies worldwide.
Cayman’s schedule is as follows:
- Friday, 30 January: Cayman U-15 v Inter Miami U-14 (8pm)
- Saturday, 31 January: Cayman U-15 v Cavalier FC U-14 (8pm)
- Sunday, 1 February: Cayman U-15 v New York Red Bulls U-14 (8pm)
A final will follow based on group-stage results.
