Walkers is inviting Caymanian students to apply for its legal scholarship programme to support those pursuing a qualifying UK law degree.
The international firm is seeking candidates with a record of academic achievement who are committed to a career in law at Walkers.
Applicants must intend to return to the Cayman Islands to practise law.
The programme provides financial assistance for the academic or vocational stages of legal training.
This training prepares students for the period of recognised training, which includes qualifying work experience or articles of clerkship.
Recipients of the award receive professional support, including mentoring and career guidance, along with at least one paid summer legal internship at the firm.
Walkers provides legal, corporate, compliance and fiduciary services to global financial institutions and investment fund managers.
Students will have networking opportunities with firm associates, senior counsel and partners.
Applications for the 2026 intake are open from 2 January to 28 February. Interested students must complete the application form and provide all supporting documentation.
Applicants can visit the Walkers careers page or email trainees@walkersglobal.com for details.
While students may apply for other awards, Walkers reserves the right to adjust the final sponsorship amount.
Only candidates who progress to the interview stage will be contacted.
