Offshore firm Collas Crill unveils new global brand identity

Offshore firm Collas Crill is rolling out a new brand identity as it reshapes its image nearly two decades after introducing its signature pink branding.

The firm said the rebrand reflects how the business has expanded since 2008 from a single-jurisdiction law practice.

It is now a wider group spanning legal, trust and corporate, and regulatory and compliance services across six offices including in the Cayman Islands.

At the centre of the update is a new brand message: ‘Refreshingly clear. Reassuringly human.’

The positioning is intended to highlight both its technical advisory work and focus on client relationships at a time when artificial intelligence is changing how companies operate.

In a press release, group head of marketing and communications Kim Halliwell said the new identity followed client feedback, internal consultation and market research.

“Our brand has always helped us stand out in a competitive market and we’ve never shied away from doing things differently,” she said.

“We wanted to build on this boldness and strengthen our positioning – a clear, differentiated message to the market about who we are, what clients can expect from us and why people should join Collas Crill.”

The firm’s original pink branding, introduced in 2008, was designed to signal a different approach in the offshore legal market.

Since then, the business has broadened beyond legal services into fiduciary, compliance and corporate support work as offshore firms increasingly diversify their offerings.

Chief executive officer Jason Romer said the rebrand was intended to reflect the balance between technology and client interaction within the business.

Romer added that the company wanted the branding to reflect both technical expertise and long-term client relationships.

“Collas Crill is a dynamic, vibrant place to work,” he said. “We have deep expertise, decades of experience and the depth of relationship with our clients to help them find apposite solutions to the challenges they face today.”

The updated branding and visual identity are now live across the firm’s communications channels and platforms.
