The qualifying rounds will determine the region’s entrants to the 2026 Concacaf W Championship, scheduled for November 2026.
The Dominican Republic tour, from 10 to 20 July, will see the Cayman Islands face both national and club-level competition.
The fixtures include:

- Tuesday, 15 July – CIWNT vs. Dominican Republic National Team
- Thursday, 17 July – CIWNT vs. Club Real Deportivo
- Saturday, 19 July – CIWNT vs. Club Real Deportivo
Martha Godet, Cayman Islands Football Association’s women’s technical director, said: “This tour is a critical part of our preparation for the Concacaf W Qualifiers.
“It gives our players international exposure and helps us build a cohesive, competitive squad.
“We’re taking steps now to be ready for the demands of this important competition cycle.”
In addition to match play, the tour includes daily training, recovery sessions and strategic development aimed at strengthening the team’s performance heading into the qualifiers.
The Cayman Islands Under-14 Girls National Football Team is also set to travel to the Dominican Republic this July for a series of friendly matches.
