The Maples Group has secured the Offshore Law Firm of the Year title at the Chambers Asia-Pacific and Greater China Region Honours 2026, extending its winning streak to four consecutive years.
The awards, presented in Hong Kong, recognise offshore law firms operating across the Asia-Pacific and Greater China markets.
Maples was shortlisted alongside Carey Olsen, Conyers, Harneys, Ogier and Walkers before emerging as this year’s winner.
The latest award adds to the firm’s standing in the annual Chambers Asia-Pacific Guide 2026, where it retained a Band 1 ranking for offshore legal services for more than a decade running.
Chambers said the rankings are based in part on feedback from clients and industry peers.
In its assessment, the legal rankings organisation stated: “Maples Group fields a team with standout experts on Cayman Islands and BVI law with laudable strength in investment funds work.”
Chambers also said the firm provides pan-Asian coverage of mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, corporate restructuring and trust matters through offices in Singapore and Hong Kong.
Ann Ng, regional managing partner and head of funds and investment management practice in Asia, said the award reflected the work of the firm’s regional team and its client relationships.
“To be recognised for a fourth consecutive year is a special achievement and a testament to the strength of our team and the trust our clients place in us,” Ng said in a press release.
“I’m incredibly proud of what our team has achieved together.”
The Maples Group said the recognition highlights the continued performance of its Asia practice and its offshore legal services business across the region.
The firm also thanked Chambers and Partners, clients and peers for their continued support and congratulated the other firms recognised in this year’s awards.
