The Cayman Islands National Museum is hosting Mango Fest 2025 on Saturday, 5 July, along the George Town waterfront.
The public is invited to attend the annual event celebrating the Cayman mango from 2pm to 7pm, with free admission for all.
The festival will feature a wide range of activities including catboat rides in the harbour, mango-themed games for children, and traditional crafts.
The event also includes a mango dessert competition and a mango peeling and eating contest.
Attendees will be able to enjoy mango cocktails and mocktails as well as a variety of local food offerings.
Live music will provide entertainment throughout the afternoon, and the museum grounds will be transformed into a festival space showcasing the cultural and culinary importance of the mango.
Those interested in participating in the dessert or mango-eating competitions can visit www.museum.ky/mangodessert and www.museum.ky/mangocompetition for entry details.
Mango Fest is organised by the Cayman Islands National Museum as part of its community engagement programming.
The event is held annually to mark the mango season and to support local heritage, food traditions, and family activities.
