Cayman National Bank (Isle of Man) Ltd has confirmed several senior leadership changes, marking a significant transition for the firm as it continues to expand its banking and fiduciary services.
After eight years as managing director, Nigel Gautrey has officially stepped down from the role.
During his tenure, Gautrey played a key role in shaping the bank’s strategic direction and operational excellence.
Although retiring from day-to-day leadership, he will remain involved in a consultancy capacity, overseeing the transition to a new online banking platform.
Jim Woodall, previously banking director, has succeeded Gautrey as managing director.
Woodall, who has been with the bank for five years, has been credited with strong operational oversight and client service leadership.
His appointment is seen as a continuation of the strategic framework laid during Gautrey’s leadership.
In a related move, Colin Peters has been promoted to head of banking at the firm.
Peters, who has worked with Cayman National Bank (Isle of Man) for more than eight years, previously served as banking manager.
He has also held leadership roles in the local financial community, including serving as vice president and president of the London Institute of Banking and Finance – Isle of Man Centre for over five years.
As head of banking, Peters will be responsible for leading the bank’s customer-facing operations, with a focus on delivering value-added services and maintaining high standards of service for both local and international clients.
Meanwhile, a leadership transition has also taken place at the bank’s sister company.
Roz Melia has been appointed managing director of Cayman National Trust Company (Isle of Man) Limited, succeeding Gautrey in that capacity.
Melia brings 23 years of experience within the Cayman National Group and has served as Fiduciary Director since 2017.
The bank has expressed confidence in the newly appointed executives’ ability to guide its next phase of development and maintain its reputation for service, stability and innovation.
