Tamsin Deasey-Weinstein’s next AI Monthly Meetup will give people a chance to watch artificial intelligence agents being built live, in real time.
The Cayman Islands-based AI strategist will host the session – open to anyone interested in learning more about AI – on Zoom at 6:30pm Cayman time on Thursday, 30 July.
She has invited David Manouchehri, a director at AI and cybersecurity firm AI.Moda SEZC, to demonstrate how AI agents are built.
An AI agent is an AI system that can take a goal, work out the steps needed to achieve it, and then take actions on a person’s behalf – rather than simply answering a question.
Deasey-Weinstein told Cayman Independent: “We’re building agents live, based on the real tasks people bring us.
“You walk in with a problem that eats your time, and you leave with something that works on Monday morning.”
She said she was excited to have Manouchehri, an expert in building scalable AI solutions, onboard.
Reflecting on the monthly meet up sessions held so far, Deasey-Weinstein said she loves how they have attracted such a range of people.
This includes “experts and people who’ve never touched AI in their lives” and everything from “young people to those looking to change their lives to lawyers, hospitality workers, entrepreneurs and more”.
“We keep it completely non-technical and completely free because I want Cayman to be a place where this technology is accessible to everyone, not just the people who already speak the language,” she added.
Anyone interested can sign up here.
