More than 40 Cayman Islands-based lawyers and consulting experts have been recognised in the ‘Lexology Index: Asset Recovery 2026’.
The index is an international guide highlighting leading practitioners in asset recovery, fraud litigation, insolvency and asset tracing.
It recognises individuals based on independent research, as well as feedback from clients and peers.
The rankings, published on lexology.com on 9 July, identify leading professionals involved in tracing, freezing and recovering assets in complex cross-border disputes, fraud investigations and insolvency matters.
Cayman practitioners were recognised across several categories, from ‘Global Elite Thought Leaders’ to ‘Recommended’, reflecting the jurisdiction’s continued prominence in international disputes and restructuring work.
Among the highest-ranked Cayman lawyers were Campbells partner Mark Goodman, Carey Olsen partner Sam Dawson, Ogier partner Jennifer Fox and Walkers partner Shelley White, all named ‘Global Elite Thought Leaders’.
In the consulting expert rankings, Alex Lawson of Alvarez and Marsal, Margot MacInnis and John Royle of Grant Thornton Specialist Services Cayman, Angela Barkhouse of Kroll, David Griffin and Andrew Morrison of FTI Consulting, and Martin Trott of R&H Restructuring received the top awards.
