A Paris-inspired night of fine dining and entertainment raised vital funds for breast cancer patients, while also celebrating the strength of survivors.
The Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF)’s Blush and Bloom Parisian Soiree, saw guests come together at Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman, wearing a variety of shades of pink,
Moulin Rouge style entertainment was provided by the Centre Pointe dance studio, while Sophie and Beniel impressed audiences with their singing.
Among the guests were the charity’s patron, Governor Jane Owen, and the newly appointed deputy premier, Gary Rutty and his wife Angela.
The foundation’s chief administrator, Beverly Edgington, spoke at the charity event about the growth of the organisation.
She said it came with a “sobering realisation”.
“The average age of the women BCF supported in 2024 was just 47 years and 10 months and they are seeing the same trend in 2025,’ she added.

“This is not just a statistic – it’s a call to action. It means breast cancer is affecting women earlier, and our work must evolve to meet their needs earlier, more holistically, and with even greater compassion.”
Speaking about the foundation she said: “It’s our passion. It drives us each day, knowing that behind every programme, every support session, every campaign – there is a real person, a real family, and a real story.
“We are here for them, and we are here because of you.”
The headline sponsors of the night were Health City, Rum Point Club and SteppingStones Recruitment.
