The Cayman Islands Marketing Professionals Association (CIMPA) is launching a new event aimed at supporting the next generation of marketing and creative professionals.
CIMPA Next Gen will bring together students, graduates and emerging professionals for a morning of career advice, networking and connections with professionals from across the industry.
The first event will take place on Saturday, 8 August, from 10am to noon at Union Grill and Bar in Camana Bay.
Attendees will hear career insights from young professionals, connect with experienced professionals from a range of sectors and have the opportunity to ask questions and receive practical advice, according to CIMPA LinkedIn post.
The event is aimed at people interested in marketing, communications, design, media, content creation, events and the wider creative industries.
CIMPA said the event is intended to provide an accessible space for people exploring their career options, beginning their careers or looking to expand their professional networks.
Tickets cost CI$15 and include breakfast and refreshments. CIMPA student members can attend for free.
