Drivers battled for the fastest times and finest margins as the Cayman Motoring Federation hosted the second round of its 2026 Auto Slalom League.

Alistair Rahamut claimed victory in the Stock Class, while Tim Frawley recorded the fastest overall time of the day to win the Modified Class.
The event, at the Foster’s Airport Overflow Parking Lot on 31 May, saw competitors navigate a timed course designed to test precision, vehicle control and handling skills.
Competition in the Stock Class was particularly tight, with less than a tenth of a second separating second and third place.
Rory Scheepers finished second in an Audi Q3 with a time of 75.141 seconds, narrowly ahead of Beyers du Toit, whose Suzuki Vitara crossed the line in 75.241 seconds.
In the Modified Class, Cameron Myrie secured second place in a Honda Civic Type R with a time of 75.787 seconds.
Alison Scheepers was named Fastest Female Driver after recording a time of 88.026 seconds in an Audi Q3.
Members of Cayman’s radio-controlled car community also attended the event, providing demonstration runs for spectators.
CMF president Jane Scaletta said the events provide drivers with an opportunity to develop vehicle control and confidence in a controlled environment while helping to build the local motorsport community.

Scheepers, who was competing in the women’s category, said she was initially intimidated by the course but gained confidence as the day progressed.
“I was quite apprehensive at first as the course looked complicated but once I was on my third round, my confidence grew and it was great fun,” she said.
