The Cayman Islands Humane Society is welcoming visitors to its shelter this weekend for a Doggy Day Out event.
From 8am to 11am on Saturday, 9 August, there’s a chance to spend time with the society’s adorable dogs and even take them for a walk.
The event will include a ‘Best Doggy Day Out’ photo competition, with the winner receiving a $100 Hurley’s gift card. There will also be runner up prizes.
And fans of Caybrew are in luck as the brewery is sponsoring the day and giving out free beer tokens.
It comes a month after Caybrew launched a limited-edition beer called Paws Ale to raise money for the shelter.
A Humane Society spokesperson told Cayman Independent: “We’re really excited to welcome people to the shelter this Saturday for a relaxed and fun morning celebrating our animals and our partnership with Caybrew.
“…our goal is to introduce our wonderful dogs and cats to the public and give them the best chance at finding loving homes.”
There’s no need to register – visitors can just turn up. More information on the charity is available at Cayman Islands Humane Society.
