Campbells has acted as Cayman Islands counsel on the listing of ChinaAMC Core Income Bond Fund SP on the Cayman Islands Stock Exchange.
ChinaAMC Segregated Portfolio Company II is a mutual fund registered with the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority and managed by China Asset Management (Hong Kong) Limited.
The broader China Asset Management Co Ltd group is recognised as one of the first mainland Chinese fund management companies, with its wholly owned Hong Kong subsidiary licensed to conduct asset management business in Hong Kong, Campbells said in a press release.
The group was also among the first managers approved under the Renminbi Qualified Foreign Institutional Investor (RQFII) programme.
ChinaAMC offers a wide range of investment products spanning long-only equity funds, hedge funds, exchange traded funds (ETFs), leveraged and inverse products, bond funds and segregated accounts.
The Campbells team was led by partner Robert Searle, with support from senior associate Peter Alphart and associate Benjamin Tao.
