Three Cayman Islands-headquartered firms have won awards at the Hedgeweek US Awards 2026, covering services ranging from fund administration to legal support for investment funds.
The awards were presented at a ceremony in New York on 8 October, with Citco named Fund Administrator of the Year: Middle Office Services, The Catalyst Group winning Fund Administrator of the Year: Offshore, and Loeb Smith Attorneys receiving Law Firm of the Year: Fund Domicile.
The awards recognise fund managers and service providers across the alternative investment industry.
Winners were selected through an online poll of Hedgeweek users who voted among shortlisted firms, while pre-selection data drew on multiple sources, including annualised returns over a 12-month period.

Citco said in its announcement that the award provided further recognition of its global middle-office solutions following a win at the Hedgeweek European Awards earlier this year.
The firm also credited its employees and clients for contributing to its growth and success.
Loeb Smith Attorneys was represented at the ceremony by partner Robert Farrell. Its award recognises legal services supporting fund domiciliation, through which investment funds establish a legal home in a particular jurisdiction.
The Catalyst Group, founded in the Cayman Islands in 2021, received the award for offshore fund administration.
Scott Price, co-founder, chair and chief governance officer, and Ana Nobre, associate director of client experience, accepted the award on behalf of the firm.
Catalyst provides fund administration, corporate and regulatory services, and financial reporting support.
Its work covers fund accounting, investor services, transfer agency, treasury, regulatory filings, tax reporting and anti-money laundering compliance.
The firm said it serves more than 180 clients and 900 entities, with about US$15 billion in assets under administration.
Its clients include funds domiciled in Cayman, the Bahamas and the British Virgin Islands, as well as US-domiciled funds.
Co-founder and CEO Benji Reid said the award recognised Catalyst’s approach to providing services for both onshore and offshore fund structures.
“When we established Catalyst five years ago, we set out to build a firm unencumbered by legacy technology, centred on our clients and offering a full-service model under one roof, for onshore and offshore structures alike,” Reid said.
Reid added that the company plans to launch the next release of its Core portal in the fourth quarter of 2026.
The Hedgeweek US Awards span investment performance, administration, technology, compliance, legal services and other areas of the alternative investment sector.
