Cayman Islands’ human resources professionals will gather on 10 October to celebrate excellence and innovation in the HR sector at the 2026 CAHRE Awards.
The CISHRP Awards for Human Resources Excellence (CAHRE) will be held under the theme ‘Evolve: A night of growth and greatness’ at Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman from 6pm.
The awards, organised by the Cayman Islands Society for Human Resource Professionals (CISHRP), are open to organisations of all sizes and sectors and aim to showcase best HR practices and the contribution effective HR teams make to organisational success.
They also recognise individual HR professionals who demonstrate exceptional leadership, diversity, equality, inclusion and innovation, as well as excellence in their work and employee engagement.
CISHRP president Hannah Foreman told Cayman Independent: “We’re incredibly excited for this year’s CAHRE Awards and the opportunity to celebrate the exceptional HR professionals and teams who are making a meaningful impact across our community.”
Nominations for this year’s awards closed on 18 September and Foreman said the organisation was delighted to see such a high number of submissions.
“We look forward to shining a light on the great work being done and celebrating our nominees at this year’s gala,” she added.
The awards were held every year from 2010 and 2019, before they were paused due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The CISHRP board decided to relaunch them in 2025 with a new look and feel.
Those interested in attending the gala should register here. Last year’s winners, meanwhile, can be seen here.
