The CICSA Co-operative Credit Union is now accepting applications for the 2025 Rupert McCoy Memorial Educational Grant.
It offers financial assistance to members and their immediate families pursuing higher education or vocational training.
Established to honour the late Rupert McCoy, the grant embodies his commitment to education and community development.
McCoy was a dedicated volunteer, ambassador, and advocate for the CICSA Co-operative Credit Union with over three decades of service.
Eligibility criteria:
- Applicants must be Credit Union members in good standing or immediate family members (children, siblings, or spouses) of such members.
- Eligible studies include post-secondary, technical, or vocational training programmes, whether undertaken locally, overseas, or online.
- Applicants should have a minimum GPA of 3.0 for tertiary studies or a passing grade for technical/vocational programmes.
- Two current letters of reference are required.
Application details:
- The grant is a one-time financial award and does not require repayment.
- Funds can be used for various educational expenses, including tuition, books, materials, transportation, and living costs.
- Applications must be submitted online by 11:59pm on 15 May.
- Successful applicants will be notified via email, and funds will be disbursed on or before 31 July.
