Several Cayman law firms and lawyers have been ranked in the Chambers Global Guide 2026.
Each year the guide ranks the top global lawyers, law firms and in-house counsel in over 200 jurisdictions across the world.
The rankings go from bands one to five, with one being the highest, and are based on research by a team from Chambers and Partners, a London-based independent legal research, data and analytics company.
Results released on 12 February show Walkers and Maples Group both received number one rankings in four categories, ‘Corporate and Finance’, ‘Financial Services: Regulatory’, ‘Dispute Resolution’ and ‘Investment Funds’.
Several of its lawyers also received high rankings.
Rob Jackson, managing partner at the Walkers’ Cayman Islands office, said in a press release that the results “demonstrate the consistency of our Cayman practice across all key areas, as well as the strength and depth of the team delivering that work”.
“It’s particularly encouraging to see progression across a broad range of lawyers, alongside the continued recognition of our more established practitioners,” he added.
Campbells, meanwhile, was ranked one in ‘Disputes Resolution’ and Appleby was ranked one in ‘Real Estate’.

Ogier was ranked two in ‘Corporate and Finance’, ‘Financial Services: Regulatory’, ‘Dispute Resolution’ and ‘Investment Funds’.
