The Cayman Islands Centre for Business Development (CICBD) has launched applications for its free Business Growth Incubator programme, offering 20 seats for established businesses seeking to scale operations.
The comprehensive programme combines 12 weekly three-hour workshop sessions with one year of business coaching, targeting companies that have demonstrated sustained revenue and growth potential over at least two years of operation.
Applications close on 13 February, ahead of a March start for the programme, which is structured around three segments – preparing for growth, driving expansion and sustaining development.
The first segment runs from 11 March to 8 April, followed by driving growth sessions from 15 April to 20 May and sustaining growth workshops from 27 May to 10 June.
All sessions take place on Wednesdays from 9am to 12pm.
CICBD designed the incubator to support high-growth businesses through expert-led training, mentorship and practical tools to help companies scale, strengthen governance, expand networks and access growth capital.
Eligible businesses must demonstrate steady revenue streams with repeat customers, maintain valid business licences, employ a minimum of two staff members and show demonstrated interest in expansion.
CICBD positions the initiative as supporting passionate entrepreneurs seeking to transform business dreams into sustainable growth realities, emphasising practical applications over theoretical frameworks.
The programme operates from CICBD’s offices at Baytown Plaza on West Bay Road in George Town, with participants expected to commit to the full 12-week workshop schedule plus ongoing coaching support.
Interested businesses can access application forms through the CICBD website at www.cicbd.gov.ky or contact the centre directly at cicbd@gov.ky or (345) 244-8009 for programme details and eligibility requirements.
