Applications are now open for Idea to Impact – a free, multi-phase entrepreneurial programme hosted by the Cayman Islands Centre for Business Development (CICBD).
The first phase consists of a one-week intensive bootcamp to guide aspiring founders from idea to market launch from 23 to 27 February.
Sessions will run daily from 1pm to 5pm, focusing on Lean Startup foundations, business model development, market validation and go-to-market strategies.
Following the bootcamp, selected participants will enter a 90-day business development journey.
During this second phase, up to 20 entrepreneurs will receive expert-led workshops and at least two monthly mentoring sessions with a dedicated CICBD Business Advisor.
The programme goal is for at least 50% of participants to successfully validate their ideas through indicators like user engagement and early traction.
The bootcamp targets entrepreneurs aged 18 and over who have either a business concept or a venture less than two years old.
Applicants must commit to all daily sessions and the full follow-up programme.
Learning will be hands-on, requiring participants to conduct customer discovery interviews and real-world market research during the intensive week.
Applications will be evaluated based on the clarity of the business idea, market potential relative to Cayman or regional opportunities, scalability and community impact through job creation.
The selection process will assess readiness and alignment with programme objectives, with successful candidates notified ahead of the February start date.
