Artificial intelligence expert and podcast host Isar Meitis will join Tamsin Deasey-Weinstein’s next AI online meet-up.
The free session, at 6pm on 12 February, is part of a monthly series open to anyone keen to learn more about AI.
Deasey-Weinstein, a Cayman-based AI strategist and director at University College of the Cayman Islands, launched the sessions late last year for those who might feel a bit overwhelmed by the fast-evolving technology.
Meitis is an AI implementation expert and CEO of MultiplAI, which offers firms AI education programmes and allows AI experts to share their insights via a podcast called Leveraging AI.
Deasey-Weinstein, who recently started a part-time AI for business course at Oxford University’s Saïd Business School, said the monthly meetup gives the local community access to brilliant AI minds all over the world.
“The speakers are all doing great things globally and yet volunteer their time for free because they believe AI skills should be accessible to everyone,” she told Cayman Independent.
“This February session is a free, hands-on workshop for anyone, regardless of background or experience.
“If you’re curious, uncertain, or just don’t know where to start, this is your chance to take part and start to learn.”
Although free, places must be registered in advance. This can be done here.
