Family-favourite Cinderella is returning to the Cayman Islands stage after 30 years.
Cayman Drama Society is putting on the pantomime at The Prospect Playhouse from Friday, 28 November, to Sunday, 14 December.
The production, which has been in rehearsal since August, is directed by Juliet Fenn and features a talented cast of 35.
Speaking to Cayman Independent, the society’s Mike Bishop said: “Join us for a magical evening where pumpkins turn into carriages, glass slippers find their rightful owner and dreams really do come true!”
In true panto style, there will of course be lots of audience participation, including a chance to boo at the villain and shout ‘behind you!’
Bishop said it’s the first time Cinderella has been performed in the Cayman Islands since 1995.
Performances run on Fridays and Saturdays from 7:30pm and Sundays from 3pm. Tickets cost CI$25 for adults and over 12s, and children 12 and under can watch the play for $12.
